Meet Dr. Carpenter

As your dentist in Napoleon, Dr. Michael Carpenter, will tell you he grew up happily in Henry County and plans to grow old happily here, too. That's why he chose to come back after graduating from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1996. In 1998, he purchased a practice to serve the people of Napoleon and nearby Defiance.

Passionate about providing excellent dental care, Dr. Carpenter decided to provide his patients with more than general dentistry. By offering cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry, Dr. Carpenter knew he could drastically improve his patient's lives by creating beautiful, healthy smiles.

Dr. Carpenter realized the right education was essential to providing this advanced care. He looked at several post-graduate training facilities and found that the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) provided exceptional education in cosmetic and neuromuscular care. To date, Dr. Carpenter has successfully completed the majority of LVI's curriculum.

• The Henry County Board of MR/DD
• The Academy of General Dentistry
• Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society
• Past president of Maumee Valley Dental Society.

Dr. Carpenter also has lectured on dental topics to local organizations including the Liberty Center Rotary Club (of which he is past president) and the Napoleon Optimists Club (of which he is a member).
